About halfway between Than Bok Khorani and Krabi Town lies a stunning mangrove bay, possibly the most beautiful in Thailand. This recently discovered area features breathtaking bays and canyons, perfect for first encounters with its rich ecosystem. Narrow channels between towering karst formations are accessible during low tide, offering guaranteed sightings offishers, Little Herons, and Crab-Eating Macaques. Although not yet a national park, Ao Thalane is a hidden gem that remains largely undeveloped and uncrowded.
